Marco Gomiero built the Friends Tournament app as an Open Source app. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and who it is shared with.
Overview
Your tournaments, players and scores stay on your device. The app has no account and does not send them to me or to anyone else. The services listed below receive only the information described in their section.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Unless you have bought “Remove ads”, the app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure them, Google may collect your device’s advertising identifier, your IP address, information about your device and the app, and how you interact with the ads.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google’s consent form. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options.
On iOS the app does not ask for permission to track you, so Apple’s advertising identifier is not shared.
You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
In-app purchases (RevenueCat)
The one-time “Remove ads” purchase is processed by Apple or Google. To confirm it and restore it on your other devices, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user id and the purchase receipt. I do not receive your payment details.
Usage analytics (TelemetryDeck)
The app sends anonymous, aggregated usage signals, for example that the “Remove ads” screen was shown, to TelemetryDeck. These signals carry a hashed identifier that cannot be traced back to you, and no personal data.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do the necessary actions.
